Get Educated: In Egypt, onions were considered to be an object of worship. The onion symbolized eternity to the Egyptians, so they buried them along with their Pharaohs. They thought the onion possessed eternal life because of its circle-within-a-circle structure. Perhaps you could discuss that when your incredibly sweet boyfriend offers to eat all the onions the restaurant hides in your salad.

Feel Inspired:  When I'm bored at work I like to google “Six Word Memoir” and see what examples I get. Legend has it that Hemingway was once challenged to write a story using only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Then an online magazine called Smith challenged it's readers to do the same. You can read the NPR article here. What would you write?
