Get Educated: When people ask you to do things with them, it's because they think that having you there will make the experience more enjoyable. This is true whether your friends invite you out to the bar for the night; your mom invites you to go grocery shopping with her; or somebody asks you to marry them.

Get Educated: If you aren't sure how fresh your eggs are, here's an easy way to test them.

1. Fill a deep bowl or pan with enough cold tap water to cover an egg.
2. Place the egg in the water.
3. If the egg lies on its side on the bottom, the air cell within is small and it's very fresh.
4. If the egg stands up and bobs on the bottom, the air cell is larger and it isn't quite as fresh.
5. If the egg floats on the surface, it it should be discarded.

Get Educated: When you wake up in the middle of the night for a snack or to use the bathroom, cover one eye with one hand and leave it there until you shut the lights out again. The eye you had covered will still be able to see well in the dark and prevent you from bumping in to things on your way back to bed. This is the reason pirates wore eye patches. After spending time in the sun up on deck they could go below deck, switch the eye patch and still see in the darkness.

Feel Inspired: The worst opinion people can have of you is to be completely neutral. People don’t have to love you, but at least be interesting enough that they hate you.
