People tend to listen better when the quiet person in the room is talking. If you want to be listened to more, shut up more. Instead of giving your opinion about twenty things you only kind of care about, save it for the two things that you are really passionate about. The less you talk, the more valued your ideas will be, when you actually do.
It is odd how that does work, the quiet insight is held higher then the loud information. People that have a tendency to carry a reputation as a talker usually get over looked when they have some truly involved and heart filled opinion. Pick and choose your battles and then you have a higher chance to win.
ReplyDeleteHappiness is indeed the final word in it all. The driving force in so many peoples actions. Be it personal satisfaction they seek in the happiness, or possibly a happiness derived out of the happiness of others.
The columns advice....just oowow. I believe I have seen that before but it is classic.
